Tango dance queen Mora Godoy and the Chinese audience celebrate the coming New Year together.From December 28, 2018 to January 3, 2019, the Argentine Mora Godoy Tango Dance Company, across more than half of China, brought an audio-visual feast to Tango lovers!

As the general director, choreographer and protagonist, time and again, Mora Godoy leads a dance troupe composed of world-class dancers and famous musicians to China with her new show. This performance combines a variety of Argentine Tango elements such as modern, classic and traditional, showing the dancer's dexterity and elegance with supreme difficult actions. In the choreography, Mora paid special attention to the balance between Piazzolla and Milonga, trying to show the Chinese audience a modern and Mora’s style Tango drama. During the performance, outstanding dancers, singers and musicians from Argentina took turns making efforts to show the charm of Argentina in all directions!

The audience responded enthusiastically

“Now Mora wants to invite the audience to the stage to dance Tango with us, just like once invited US President Barack Obama!” The spotlights moved from the stage to the audience. The theater was brightly lit, and the cheers set off a new wave of climax. The audience was eager to try – the Argentine Tango has always been known for its passion and enthusiasm, and you must not begrudge your applause and enthusiasm! During the tour, Mora Godoy’s Tango Dance Company has completed the first show of annual tour in China with full passion and sincerity. At the show, the audience was fortunate to join hands with the world's top Tango dancers. The intimate interacting blasted the audience!

During the performance, the auditorium burst into warm applause again and again because of the wonderful show of the troupe! In the interactive part with the audience, the Argentine dance queen Mora Godoy and her partner, the excellent Tango dancer Jose, interacted with the audience, boiling up the entire theater. Despite having danced for more than 30 years and nearly a hundred performances a year, Mora Godoy’s strict requirements for rehearsal are consistent. As the general director, she needs to take time out of repeated coaching to complete the warm-up. Mora, a ballet dancer, is used to the ballet-style graceful warm-up posture, which makes her look incomparable elegant.
